The cu/au comparison is more appropriate to pre-demerged MLX.
The lowering pog A$ puts focus on the various companies' AISC. I expect that WGX will looked at more closely now in that regard.
I posted that info on AUR (ex RNI) because a poster there raised the matter of AUR having lost out because of selling Fortnum to MLX/WGX. I totally disagree with him as AUR would never have got Fortnum off the ground through lack of expertise and money. WGX has succeeded whereas AUR would not have; but it was an expensive exercise that took much longer than originally thought.
Anyway, it may not be known here that WGX has the gold rights in respect of AUR's Forrest Project exploration where it is currently drilling, mainly for vms copper, but with gold credits. That's a small space for WGX holders to watch. It's an area that is quite close to the Fortnum plant too, so any big vms cu/au discovery would be beneficial to WGX.
