Waratah Resources (ASX:WGO) has received a notice of initial substantial shareholding from interests associated with executive chairman Ben Kirkpatrick that hold a 5.72% stake in the company.
In December, Kirkpatrick’s was issued 14.4 million shares in lieu of part salary. This increased his indirect and direct holding up to 21,923,089 shares.
The company is developing and implementing a logistics network for the supply of commodities by its Australian Commodities Division.
Earlier in 2014, the company was offered three additional licences in strategic locations within Gabon, in different minerals encompassing nickel, gold, copper and rare earths.
