You are talking about mile based efficiency KPI's only though, I am talking about fundamental business performance at a company level. Virgin has turned this ship around. Sure they are subject to the same fuel costs as the whole industry is, but there are high barriers to entry in this space and Virgin is posed to leverage the increasing gross domestic traffic as indicated in air traffic data.
