News: UPDATE 1-Virgin Australia says China's HNA Aviation to buy major stake, page-19

On the weekend I convinced myself to buy VAH shares at the market opening today.
When I saw the VAH SP going down instead of up I changed my mind.

I was expecting Virgin to be actively buying up 13,000,000 shares on the market to get their 8.7% stake in VAH back up to 10% ASAP.
The volume traded today [550,000 shares] and the small price drop suggests that Virgin are not buying in any large quantity.
It just goes to show how I don't understand what Virgin management are thinking.

Did I miss any news today that might explain the drop in the VAH SP?
