why don't you ask Madam Merc why she shops at Aldi?
i bet it has nothing to do with saving "crumbs".
it all has to do with convenience as Aldi are mostly stand alone on main roads.
as far as desperate value shoppers go- most are on welfare and can't add up due to poor schooling.
