affluent types aren't after so called best prices.
all they want is convenience to "top up" and that is what Aldi basically is. they are mostly stand alone stores with easy access , but with very limited choice and product range.
fruit and veg and meat is also pretty bad, so why would anyone be so stupid to shop at Aldi?
about the only positive is the promotional stuff.
ps- the beggar is not located at Aldi as he has to pay a surcharge .
