FD - anyway - I'm sure you recognize it is lower risk as far as it is already up 14%. The worry is whether to hold overnight. My stops don't really hurt so much if I can get a potential quick 10% move as a reward. Will see what the media and speculators come up with. Maybe something along the lines of (my crystal balls are murky but anyway . . . .)
1. Crown Melbourne is a huge success
2. Melco Crown JV is a huge success
3. Very confident CWN pulls out all stops to build $2b casino in Sydney.
4. Very confident Cwn gets hairy chested but loses to Echo in Brisbane, might be lucky?
5. Melco success sours, CWN offloads some
6. JP resigns as chairman to spend more time with family, after a dramatic scene with a mate includes some punches.
7. JP resigns as director
8. CWN announces huge demerger with huge benefits to everybody.
9. JP reduces his exposure to international
10. JP reduces his exposure to the CWN properties.
11. JP sells down his CWN stake.
I have nothing against JP doing 9 to 11. Just playing a guessing game - but markets would no doubt not like number 11 much I suspect, if it happened.
