Thanks Nammuldi, you have obviously done a lot more research on this than me!! I was relying on 1. the location and extent of UIL's EP's.
2. the reputation of the directors and the fact that they hold about 35% of UIL and have been consistent buyers
3 ENB buying into EP447 as they seem to have little else in the area(?)
Your point that the Waitsia types appear deeper in UIL's areas is not good news although they could be relying more on the previous wells and Catamulla (?) coal measures(?).
Ocean 1 and Coomalla wells appear relevant - do you know where I can find the results of these?
Sorry there are more questions than answers here but appreciate your knowledge on this- I am surprised at the lack of interest by others here as the Perth Basin seems to have good prospects. The proposed horizontal drills by "a Dutch company" and EGO's drilling as well as more work by AWE will be of interest!

EP447 is ex GPP. So might get some historic info on it in old annuals.
Walyering had good initial flows before it blocked up after less than a year.
New techniques may produce better results because the gas and condensate is there, just can be very fractured.
