Transfield Services Limited (ASX:TSE) has secured $159 million worth of contracts in its infrastructure business in Australia.
The most valuable is a $90 million one year extension to a five year contract with the Land and Housing Corporation for maintenance and repairs.
Other contracts include a $39 million three year service contract awarded to Transfield joint venture TransCom Connect, and a $30 million one year extension to a contract with the Department of Defence in South Australia.
CEO Graeme Hunt says the contracts reinforce the strength of Transfield’s social housing, public infrastructure and defence capabilities.
Transfield services reported a net loss of $247 million in the first half of fiscal 2013.
