Certainly it looks like the deal favours TFS + TFS shareholders more than the MIS growers.

Perhaps TFS could have made it a bob each way for the growers by offering them payment in TFS shares so that TFS gets their trees and the growers still get to share in the future harvest if that's what they want?

What if only 50% of the MIS growers agree to sell. I thought that each MIS grower owns their own "lot" of trees that can be identified as their own. That is how I thought the tax ruling worked as they needed to pay a rent on the said parcel of land that had their own plot of trees that could be inspected etc.
How on earth would they harvest efficiently around the lots that are not purchased. I would imagine it would be a logistical nightmare.
