Tasman Resources (ASX:TAS) is raising up $1.8 million through a two-for-five non-renounceable pro-rata rights issue priced at $0.05 per share.
Earlier this month, the company confirmed a cohesive silver anomaly at the Corrie Dam prospect located about 8 kilometres from its Parkinson Dam project in South Australia.
Infill sampling was carried out to better define the anomaly for drill testing.
The 100ppb silver zone covers 1.5 kilometre by 480 metre prospect with a peak value of 630ppb.
The prospect could be a strike extension of one of the high priority epithermal silver targets recently highlighted by Musgrave Minerals (ASX:MGV) 1.5 kilometres to the southwest on adjacent Exploration Licence 5497.
Follow up air core drilling is planned for this quarter.
