Peak Resources Ltd (ASX:PEK) advised that drilling operations have commenced at the Ngualla Rare Earth Project in Tanzania. Peak's Managing Director Darren Townsend commented: "Peak is pleased with the solid progress being made with the development work programs that support the Bankable Feasibility Study and work towards establishing Ngualla as a low cost, long-term supplier of the Magnet Metal rare earths.
Prairie Mining Ltd (ASX:PDZ) advises that it has executed an investment agreement of up to A$83 million from global natural resources private equity fund, CD Capital, to upgrade, expand and develop the large scale premium Lublin Coal Project in south eastern Poland.
Predictive Discovery Ltd (ASX:PDI) said that a shallow, drilling program has discovered new gold mineralisation at four prospects, all of which are within 10km of the high-grade Bongou Gold Resource in Africa. Mr Paul Roberts, PDI's Managing Director said: "This program was planned to make low cost, shallow drill tests of multiple targets. Most of the drill holes were less than 30m deep and we have also demonstrated good continuity in at least three of the new prospects.
