When I see relatively large buys like this at a low price in the absence of a previously declared seller I wonder whether it has a tie up with creating an artificially low trading price which might be used for calculating shares in exchange for exploration capital. With the Merdeka Alliance,however, I've interpreted that the calculation is based on the VWAP and needs to take place within 1 month of quarterly period end ie for this quarter during May. June lies outside of the second and third quarter calculation period. The other consideration may relate to EOFY losses to balance out some potentially super gains this FY in other stocks. Which ever way you look at this the current price is disappointing.
