Oct 19 (Reuters) - Santos Ltd (STO) on Thursday reported a 22 percent rise in revenue during the third quarter, underpinned by a rise in prices of oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG), with Brent having hit its highest in more than two years last month.
Revenue rose to $793 million in the quarter from $650 million a year earlier, and beat a forecast of $742 million from UBS.
However third-quarter production fell 3 percent to 15 million barrels of oil equivalent (mmboe) from a year earlier, due to maintenance work at Gladstone LNG.
