Just re-read Mark Hooper's address to shareholders at the recent AGM. I have to admit to feeling a little dudded given the "full speed ahead" nature of his comments without a single word about the CW drama's. You could argue that he didn't know about it at the time, but I am a little sceptical about that, this would have been brewing for a while.
Either: a) He didn't know about it at the time;
b) He knew about it and deliberately failed to mention it; or
c) Knew about it but was confident that the impacts of it will be minor;
Personally, I think it was (b). Perhaps at the time he was confident CW would stick to the agreement and that would be the end of it. I guess it didn't play out that way.
