    no its a pecuniary interest in a pharmacy that counts, could be 1% and its the same as owning 100%. Usually they set up service agreements that sit outside the ownership structure but allow payment for "services" and also kick in on sale ie transfer back to the real "owner". Ones like priceline, amcal chemart etc are traditional banner groups where they are actual owner by individual pharmacists and no corporate ownership. The benefit of these is in the group buying/advertising and corporate image etc
