It really comes down to the size of the bucket.
If you take a teaspoon out of a cup;
a whole lot less than a tablespoon out of a 1000l barrel.
Another REIT, Abacus, ABP is 2b; Stockland is 8B.
A very big bucket.
Also there is a genuine difference between asset valuation and cash trading balance.
The first is estimate; the second math.
A commonsense real situation.
If you had 5k SGP at a buy of 3.9; if you bought 5k today at 3.5; the buy price has been reduced by 20c.
Still get the same 7% divi of 27c pa.
Can sell when SP rises or not.
Your say in market.
Because you ask such a very sensible question, I would like you opinion in return.
PLEASE go to a Charter Hall, Scentre, and the Venture ones.
Have a look at tenancy, cleanliness, security, parking
all the things you would want for your family.
