Your a brave buying in 2009 and you should have nothing to worry about then... Early stage investing is not me. Need to see good cashflow and balance sheet before I drink the Kool-Aid.
SFR got to debt free stage early 2017. That's when I bought in... each to their own but If I were you, I would have sh1t myself in 2012 when debt got to almost 400 mil, equity of only 200 mil and an earnings of -23mil.
We all drink the Kool-Aid when and how one drinks it is what gives it true flavour
