This pre-occupation with how much of the Issued Capital of the business changes hands at any point in time is something that also has me a bit bemused.

Because, possibly like you, whether 5%, 10%, 20%, 50% of a company's shares are bought and sold on any given day (or 1.8%, as was the "record volumes" case yesterday to which I think @stocktraderman is referring), or even zero percent, for that matter... none of those levels of stock trade volume alter my assessment of what the business is worth.


But let's ask the man himself:

@stocktraderman, what is the relevance to an investment in SDI of "record volumes"?
