I'm saying they care about the business... unlike too many executive teams, whose primary concern is the share price at the expense of the fundamentals of the business.

I know which approach I observe resulting in sustainable shareholder value creation.
For the holders.


Rather lets keep it in the family but prefer to make squillions out of the mugs who buy our shares.

Not sure who these unfortunate mugs are to which you are referring, but I can only speak for myself: Over the past fours years that I've been a shareholder, they have not asked me for single cent; all that has happened is that that the business has become stronger and more profitable.
(Oh, and they have - in the form of fully franked dividends - kindly given me back about a quarter of the capital I first put in to buy my shares. If that's how mugs are treated, then I'll be a mug any day of the week,)
