In the spirit of throwing my speculation into the mix - the cascade could largely be a result of Pie Funds continuing their exit.
They've been steadily reducing their holdings over the last few months at prices between $0.72-1.12. At last count, they still held just over 5.6 million shares. Today's volume of 377k would be pocket change - if indeed they were continuing to offload.
