    Hi Jimmy,

It is all very nice in theory and I just wish it was as simple as that.

No doubt Saputo will pay a higher milk price. But they WILL wait until MG opens and then match it with a margin.

And when MG loses milk, that will limit its ability to pay. Therefore, once MG is weakened, that will mean Saputo will only need to pay a smaller amount to attract the milk.

This happens in Gippsland with Itichou corporation and reduce factory input in MG factories in Gippsland means every farmer in Victoria receives a lower price, no matter who they supply.

For all of their talk, Saputo is profit making multinational which will pay as little as possible for its raw product - milk.

For all of our sakes we need a strong co-operative, and to have a strong co-operative it must have milk.

Please don't refer to a farmer owned co-operative which acts as a not for profit organisation so as to pay as much as possible for milk as 'just another milk processor that will screw you over.'

Ask a fruit or potatoe grower what it is like just dealing with multinationals.

I sincerely hope a number of WCB suppliers see what is needed and re-direct their supply to the co-op.

We will all be winners then.

    Thankyou for your time.
