Anyone else think Vale might have some nickel assets for sale? Are any of their cast-offs worth having?
No one - including, I assume S32 - wanted to JV the Vale New Caledonia nickel complex. Maybe Vale will be amenable to better terms after two tailings dam disasters tearing holes in its balance sheet. S32 would want 51% and insist on operating the asset.
