Hong Kong investment company Stanhill Capital Partners has lobbed a takeover offer at Robust Resources (ASX:ROL) to acquire all the shares for A$0.28 cash per share.
Ilyas Khan is a partner of Stanhill.
Given Robust last traded at $0.22, it is a 27.2% premium to the offer price.
The takeover offer is a good sign for the junior resources sector and may provide a shot in the arm.
The offer is conditional on a 75.01% minimum level of acceptances to the offer as well as receiving regulatory approvals from the Australian authorities and shareholders approval.
