Gina Rinehart and Lachlan Murdoch have boosted their stake in Ten Network Holdings Limited (ASX:TEN). Statements lodged by Ten to the Australian Securities Exchange yesterday reveal the major shareholders acquired more stock on June 19, 2012 as part of the company’s capital raising.
Mining billionaire Gina Rinehart purchased an additional 39.2 million Ten shares for $19.99 million, boosting her stake to 10.6 per cent.
Ten’s non executive chairman Lachlan Murdoch has now boosted his stake to about 9 per cent.
Shares in Ten Network dropped 2.91 per cent yesterday, closing at $0.50.
In the first half of the 2012 financial year Ten booked a net profit of $20 million.
