Whilst, I wait the outcome of the SAT hearing the announcement by REY saying they will pay on the granting of a production license is a little confusing or ?
OBL/Backreef only have an exploration permit and not a production license so have they just done Backreef over for 2% never having to meet ongoing costs while it is an exploration permit and only payable when production is about to start? Of course that is if OBL looses SAT.
Oh Backreef what have you done now?
Here is extract WA department:
" PD-PTLA-TGR-119D Rev 6
Page 6 of 14 Applicants propose a program of exploration work fo
r an area and, if that
applicant is successful (on the basis of the work p
roposed and the ability to
undertake the work), a permit is awarded which conv
erts that offer of work into a
firm commitment.
Once a discovery of petroleum is made the permit ho
lder has the right to
convert that discovery to a production title (e.g.
s53
Petroleum and Geothermal
Energy Resources Act 1967
(PGERA67)) or, if that discovery is presently not
commercially viable, it may be retained as a Petrol
eum Retention Lease (e.g.
s48(B) PGERA67)."
The other surprise is BRU announcement, no change to resources?
