I can't recall, Uber, suggesting that young Barcs wants to sabotage the company. As for the chip on the shoulder, you might be correct, although this particular stock has not cost me money: quite the contrary.

Yes, he has a large holding and it is in his interests to have a strong share price. That is even more reason to be transparent.

Today's press features the antics of Diamond Joe Gutnick, who turned shareholder funds into his own capital and appears to have escaped unscathed. The point I am making is that shareholders need to keep a close watch on the boards of companies and not let emotion cloud their judgement. In the case of QMS, what is the quality of the earnings ? Have recent acquisitions been at the right price? Are earnings likely to be maintained ? Did the holders who sold large parcels at 65c do it for some dodgy tax reason, or do they know something we don't ? Are there any conflicts of interest involving board members, or is everything kosher ? If there is a recession, will clients maintain advertising outlays or tighten their belts ?

Any stock that falls by thirty or forty percent over a six month period has to be scrutinised carefully. Perhaps QMS is excellent buying at 70c, and certainly better than at 110, 100, 90 and 80. Time will tell.

    Good luck to holders.
