If the announcement is positive as seems likely perhaps the greater part of its value is the confidence it will bring to all the trials and give confidence to the phase 1/2b AML trial which all the market is looking at.The US market has become very well informed through the roadshows of PTX and it wont be lost on the investors in the US.

The Red Chip report on the 30 March 2016 did a peer comparison and it can be misleading as no two companies are the same but as reported;
"The closest comparable, in our view, to PTX is RNN. RNN’s most advanced clinical trial program is an AKT-1 inhibitor in a phase IIa trial for metastatic renal cell carcinoma. CRIS’s lead compound is a HDAC and PI3K inhibitor in a phase II trial for relapsed, refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and a phase I trial in patients with solid tumors.

Currently RNN is 64c(32) and has a MC of $151.96 million(69.2) and CRIS is $2.77(1.49) and has a MC of $393.03 million(192.2).Both these companies have a buy/strong buy out on them...RNN target price of $2.50 and CRIS $ 6.67.
I mention this so everyone can weigh up any investment decision that they make.It could be that a broker in the US puts out a recommendation on PTX well after the announcement...PTS is only valued at $20 million...so it seems to me grossly undervalued if the announcement is positive
