March 5 (Reuters) - The Perth Mint's February sales of gold products fell to the lowest level since June last year, declining more than 37 percent from the previous month, it said on Tuesday.
Sales of gold coins and minted bars in February fell to 19,524 ounces from 31,189 ounces in January, the mint said in a blog post.
Silver sales last month fell 29.5 percent from the previous month and touched their lowest since August last year at 584,310 ounces.
The spot gold price XAU= in February posted its first monthly decline since September, down 0.6 percent, hurt by a strong dollar.
The Perth Mint refines more than 90 percent of newly mined gold in Australia, the world's second-largest gold producer behind China.
