I suppose the question is have Huayou (14.65%) taken themselves out of the running and agreed.
I would be surprised if they have, they purchased that starting stake at 25c and have a significantly bigger balance sheet than Chengtun. They have recently demonstrated acquisitive appetite, with the US$150M investment in the copper mine.
Why would they maintain their holding in the last capital raise?
Have seen these agreements terminated before, break fees be damned.
However it is nice to see that the grim reaper scenario is in the rear view mirror.
