WELLINGTON, Jan 24 (Reuters) - Growth in New Zealand's services sector rose to its highest 2016 levels in December, a survey showed on Tuesday.
The Bank of New Zealand-Business NZ's seasonally adjusted performance of services index (PSI) rose 0.3 points to 58.4 from the previous month.
A reading above 50 indicates an expansion in activity. The growth was driven by production activity and new orders, which economists said pointed to an expansion in sales activity in 2017.
