WELLINGTON, Aug 19 (Reuters) - New Zealand posted a seasonally adjusted net rise of 5,600 permanent and long-term migrants in July, resulting in a net gain of 69,015 for the past year, data from Statistics New Zealand showed on Friday.
The number of short-term visitors to New Zealand rose 14.4 percent on a year ago, taking the total number of visitors for the year to July to 3.34 million, up 11.2 percent from a year ago.
