WELLINGTON, March 24 (Reuters) - New Zealand posted a trade surplus of NZ$339 million ($227 million) in February, data from Statistics New Zealand showed on Thursday
The annual trade deficit to narrowed to NZ$3.32 billion from $3.58 billion the previous month.
Economists polled by Reuters had forecast a monthly surplus of NZ$50 million.
Exports totalled NZ$4.25 billion for the month, up from NZ$3.90 billion the previous month. Imports came in at NZ$3.91 billion versus NZ$3.89 billion.
