WELLINGTON, Dec 23 (Reuters) - New Zealand posted a monthly trade deficit of NZ$779 million ($529.56 million) in November, data from Statistics New Zealand showed on Wednesday, while the trade deficit for the 12 months to Nov. 30 was NZ$3.678 billion.
Economists polled by Reuters had forecast a monthly deficit of NZ$809.5 million and a 12-month deficit of NZ$3.76 billion.
Exports totalled NZ$4.08 billion while imports were NZ$4.86 billion.
