WELLINGTON, March 3 (Reuters) - Job advertisements in New Zealand rose 0.4 percent in February from the previous month, a survey by ANZ Bank showed on Friday.
There was an 18.5 percent rise in ads compared with a year ago and the data suggested demand for labour was boosted in particular by job growth in Auckland, especially in the construction and manufacturing industries.
However the survey also noted a flattening in advertisement growth, which the researchers said may suggest waning labour demand. It could also reflect frustration regarding attracting quality candidates, they added.
