WELLINGTON, Feb 18 (Reuters) - Job advertisements in New Zealand fell 3.2 percent in January from the previous month, a survey by ANZ Bank showed on Thursday. The fall was largely due to a dip in the newspaper category.
On the year, total job advertising is up 2.0 percent, the survey showed.
The New Zealand economy is "performing well," said ANZ Senior Economist Sharon Zollner. "However, we suspect that employers, like us, are keeping a wary eye on offshore developments."
