WELLINGTON, July 14 (Reuters) - Consumer confidence in New Zealand eased off slightly in July, but was still at an elevated level partly underpinned by a buoyant housing market, a survey showed on Thursday.
The ANZ-Roy Morgan consumer confidence index edged down to 118.2 from 118.9 in the previous month. A reading above 100 shows optimism, while below that indicates pessimism.
Expectations for consumer price inflation over the next two years fell to 3.3 percent from 3.8 percent in the previous survey.
