Ian Finch Biography
Mr Finch's successful exploration and mining career has spanned 43 years over three continents, driving exploration projects across copper, gold, nickel, iron ore and uranium.
In 1993 he co-founded the successful gold explorer Taipan Resources (later Intrepid Resources) which developed the prosperous Paulsen's gold mine in WA. In 1999, Mr Finch founded and established large copper-gold prospects in Australian through Goldminco Corporation. He was inaugural Chairman of uranium company Bannerman Resources and founding Chairman of Indonesian explorer Robust Resources.
In 2006, Mr Finch established and listed multi-mineral explorer Trafford Resources, and remains Managing Director, and is Executive Chairman of ASX-listed IronClad Mining, developing the Wilcherry Hill iron ore project in South Australia and a non-executive Director of Orinoco Gold Limited.
