    Nov 2 (Reuters) - Moly Mines Ltd (MOL)

    • Received notification from board of Gulf Alumina Ltd regarding takeover offer by Metro Mining Ltd
    • Gulf directors advise they have determined metro's offer to be 'superior proposal' to previously- recommended takeover proposal by moly
    • "Moly is currently considering its position and will respond within required timeframe"
