Mirvac Group (ASX:MGR) has secured two new projects to advance its residential development strategy.
The property developer will partner with CIC Australia to jointly develop the new Googong township on the ACT and New South Wales border.
Mirvac has also acquired a site in Clyde North in Victoria and plans to work with the state government to finalise development approvals to develop a new master-planned community.
Mirvac says the developments are located in regions poised to deliver significant growth.
In the 2011 financial year Mirvac Group recorded a net profit of $183 million.
