News: MDS Financial Group granted trading halt

MDS Financial Group (ASX:MWS) has been granted a trading halt by the ASX, with its shares placed in pre-open.

The company requested the halt pending a significant strategic relationship with an overseas entity which is in the final process of being completed.

MDS Financial added, 'The nature of the Relationship requires joint approval of any such announcement and with the time zone differences with the counterpart to the Relationship we are unable to attain such an approval today.'

The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Tuesday 17th February 2015. or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
