MCE in theory can compete through innovation. Matrix is in an industry which is not a commodity based product where the lowest labor costs apply. It requires serious engineering and design requirements to make their products.
Now sure Australia faces some disadvantages but they aren't insurmountable. It looks like though that investment in capital for oil will probably be negligable for the foreseeable future.
