Leighton Holdings Ltd’s (ASX:LEI) subsidiary Leighton Contractors has won a five year, $191 million road services contract.
The work will take place in Western Australia’s Wheatbelt region.
Joint venture partner Opus International Consultants and Leighton Contractors were awarded the contract by government body Main Roads WA.
Services will commence in March. The contract covers 3,400km of roads and includes support for network operations, operational asset management and project management.
Leighton Holdings reported a half year net profit of $218 million to 31 December 2010.
