Leighton Holdings Limited (ASX:LEI) says its wholly owned subsidiaries have won $400 million worth of work on the National Broadband Network and the Esperance Port.
Leighton’s subsidiary Visionstream has been awarded a $300 million contract with NBN Co for the roll out of the National Broadband Network in Tasmania. The project is expected to occur over four years and Visionstream expects to start work within months.
Separately, Leighton’s subsidiary John Holland has been awarded a $100 million contract to design and construct the Esperance Port access corridor project for Main Roads Western Australia.
Leighton posted a net profit of $345 million for the six months to December 31, 2011.
