Leighton Holdings Limited (ASX:LEI) subsidiary John Holland has won a $365 million contract to redevelop Tasmania's Royal Hobart Hospital.
The construction firm says the project will include building a new 10-story building of two towers.
The new building will include operating theatres, women's clinics, endoscopy, paediatrics, maternity and mental health units.
The project will also include the refurbishment of existing facilities.
John Holland won the project as part of a joint venture with fellow construction firm Fairbrother.
Leighton generated a net profit of $360.2 million in the first half of fiscal 2013.
