Leighton Holdings Limited (ASX:LEI) has appointed a new Managing Director for its Middle Eastern division Habtoor Leighton Group.
Mr Jose Antonio Lopez-Monis will replace Laurie Voyer and will commence with the company next month.
The decision comes after an extensive global search. Mr Lopez-Monis has a background in international contracting in emerging markets.
Habtoor Leighton recently announced it had secured a $US68 million contract to construct reservoirs in Qatar.
Leighton Holdings reported a net profit of $106 million in the first half of its 2012 financial year.
