Seems you can't answer a very fair question other than to insinuate you 'should have known better'?
It simply goes to why you have a hunch on a date - dates aren't the long suit of Management although of course i wouldn't expect you to agree.
Management are always right in the Ivory Tower you and they inhabit IMO.
