Various reports from my Google search shows up to 10 different bills to be tabled at this current sitting of Parliament.
Which happens to be the last until May election and who knows how much longer after the election.

No surprise - the new mines and minerals bill is not one of the 10 bills mentioned.

So after govt continued promises to table the new bill we are not likely to see anything for a long time.
However the professor of corruption has been handing out a couple of mining licenses so lets see I guess.
Reality is SVM is a way off yet but this bill is imperative for companies to have security prior to committing to financing and any end users signing up to binding off take agreements.

He really is a corrupt, compulsive liar. He keeps failing to implement the new mines bill so he can continue receiving big kick backs for the odd approval.

This is just one of his many scams. No wonder Malawi is suffering so badly under his rule.
What electricity that is available is up 20% - another scam with his very wasteful but corrupt purcjase and use of generators.
Fuel prices up 30% - locals can't even afford a fare anymore. How long to these people have to suffer from not having the basics of life.

Bring on the election - with no rigging and be rid of this terrible person/govt. The other fat pig Gondwe the minister of finance had recently revised down gdp.
Pretty obvious that with all the corruption there is no money to run the countries basic requirements.

Foreign aide has dried up because of these corrupt mungrels. Donors are fed up with them. Problem is the fat pigs don't suffer only the civilian population. The fat pigs just find other areas to raid and pilfer.
4 1/2 years he has done nothing to improve life of ever day Malawians.
