Is a freight company responsible for every criminal container that leaves Australian shores?
Doesn't the AFP not hold some responsibility too? The AFP allows a steeped drug trade to flourish in Australia, and in a sense, accrues some tacit culpability too? If only by way of the AFP's own ineptitude.
Banks are there to run banks.
They pay taxes for the police, to police. It's not their primary role nor responsibility, to function as an organ of state. I doubt it is even a secondary obligation. Is this not a constitutional manner?
Let the police, police.
Let the banks, bank.
It's somewhat rich that the AFP through the agency of AUSTRAC AML can point to CBA, accusingly, computer glitch or otherwise.
As important:- Can IMF Bentham tie up our cash in another large case that'll take more than 7 years to resolve, if CBA calls the bluff for a moment, and don their fighting gloves on or over this issue?
