Internet service provider iiNet Limited (ASX:IIN) has secured a 60 per cent stake in Tech2 Group to partner with Tech2 Group’s founder, Glen Powys.Tech2 Group provides professional technology services and solutions to residential and business customers across Australia.These services include communications build services, remote and on-site technical support and installation services.iiNet’s CEO David Buckingham says the partnership with Tech2 Group will extend the brands of both companies and the ability to service customers.iiNet reported a net profit of $63 million in the 2014 financial year.
